Mats Jonasson was born in 1945, and he is the third generation of Master glass Craftsmen.  He has developed new production techniques, using new ideas for crystal design.  Mats has been singular in capturing wildlife proportions into handmade crystal.  His feeling for shape, his accuracy to style and his details are totally individual, having gained him recognition and reputation with discerning collectors throughout the world.

Erika Höglund was born in Sweden in 1971 into a family of artists, where glass and design played an important role in everyday life.  Inspired by the possibilities of collaborating with the very best professional glassblowers and craftsmen, Erika has returned to Sweden to join the Mats Jonasson Målerås, where she is now creating original and fascinating objects for connoisseurs of fine studio glass.
